Although I am not a musician and have no formal training in music, I have always been fascinated by music of all types and quite enjoy both the experience of music and learning about music.  As with many of my experiences, the more I know about a subject, the more I appreciate and enjoy it.  Over the years as I studied the subject of “Classical” music, I decided to draft up my own personal notes as a way to reinforce my own learning and to have handy reference materials to refer to.
